Care and Maintenance Guidelines
With proper care and maintenance, your Noble Surfaces® work-surface can provide years of reliable service and maintain its appearance. Follow these guidelines to ensure your work-surface stays in excellent condition and avoid any potential damage.
Routine Cleaning
To keep your work-surface in pristine condition, promptly clean any spillages of common household items such as tea, coffee, wine, vinegar, fruit juice, or cooking sauces. Immediate cleanup is crucial to prevent stains from drying and becoming difficult to remove. Use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a small amount of Noble Surfaces® worksurface cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with water to remove any residue, and dry the surface with paper or cloth towels. For the best results, buff the area in smooth, circular motions using a white, lint-free microfibre cloth. Avoid using multi-surface polishes on your worksurface, as they may alter its appearance. Additionally, promptly dry any water spillages to prevent limescale buildup.
Removing Dried Spillages and Limescale
For stubborn stains or hardened spillages, apply a non-abrasive cream cleaner, such as Barkeepers Friend, using a white, non-metallic, non-abrasive cleaning sponge. Avoid scouring pads or any abrasive materials that could scratch or dull the surface. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. For optimal results, buff in smooth, circular motions with a white, lint-free microfibre cloth.
Avoiding Oils, Chemicals, Dyes, and Solvents
Do not use products such as stripping agents, grease removers, caustic soda, or substances with a pH value above 10 on your Noble Surfaces® worksurface. Avoid solvents containing methylene chloride, dichloromethane, or chloromethane, as these can cause permanent damage. If any oil, dye, or solvent spills occur, blot them up immediately and rinse thoroughly with water. Dry the area promptly with paper or cloth towels, then buff with a white, lint-free microfiber cloth. Oils and dyes found in common food items can also stain; clean up these spills promptly using the methods outlined above.
Protecting Against Heat Damage
Although your worksurface has heat resistance, it is not heatproof. To prevent thermal damage, avoid placing heated items directly onto the surface. Always use heat-resistant trivets or mats under hot pans or similar items.
Preventing Damage from Heavy or Sharp Objects
Do not sit, stand, or place heavy objects on the worksurface, and avoid dropping or knocking items onto it to prevent chipping or cracking. Use a chopping board for food preparation instead of cutting directly on the surface.
Care Kit
For day-to-day cleaning and maintenance, Noble Surfaces® recommends using a care kit specifically designed for our work surfaces. Contact us for more information.
Noble Surfaces® 25-Year Material Warranty
Noble Surfaces Ltd. guarantees that your Noble Surfaces® worksurface will be free from material defects for 25 years from the date of completed installation, subject to the terms outlined below. This warranty applies exclusively to work surfaces installed by or on behalf of Noble Surfaces. To activate the warranty, the installer must notify us of the installation completion date, and all associated payments must be settled. Retain your original invoice, as warranty claims require proof of purchase.
3D Printed Quartz
Our 3D Printed Quartz Collection represents the next generation of engineered surfaces. Using advanced 3D printing technology, we deliver exceptional design precision, capturing the depth, movement, and elegance of natural stone while ensuring consistent quality across every slab. Each design offers its own refined character, making it ideal for premium interior spaces.
Designed exclusively for interior residential and commercial use, these surfaces offer excellent colour stability under normal indoor lighting conditions, including sunlight through double and triple glazed and/or tinted windows. Installation in areas subject to prolonged direct sunlight or intense UV exposure, such as beneath skylights or in high-exposure zones, is not recommended unless suitable protective glazing (tinted, laminated, double, or triple glazing) is installed. Unprotected prolonged UV exposure may lead to gradual colour variation or fading and is excluded from warranty coverage. Covered by a 25-year interior warranty against manufacturing defects and abnormal discolouration under normal indoor use. Warranty excludes outdoor installations, prolonged unprotected direct UV exposure, and improper installation or maintenance.
Aesthetic Characteristics & Variations
Our 3D-printed quartz slabs are produced using advanced printing technology. As a result, minor aesthetic variations, including subtle pattern differences or tonal variations, may naturally occur. These characteristics are inherent to the manufacturing process and do not constitute defects. Warranty coverage excludes all cosmetic or aesthetic variations.
Noble Surfaces® Coverage Details
This warranty covers material faults in your Noble Surfaces® work surface used in domestic & commercial settings. In the event of a valid claim, Noble Surfaces will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective sections. While we strive to match the original colour and thickness, exact matches cannot be guaranteed, especially if the colour has been discontinued. In such cases, the closest available alternative will be provided.
The warranty does not cover:
Outdoor or exterior installations, including exterior kitchens, balconies, façades, or uncovered areas
Discolouration and fading of 3D and non 3D Quartz caused by prolonged direct exposure to sunlight or extreme UV radiation, including installations beneath skylights and glass windows without suitable minimal UV-protective glazing
Commercial or non-residential applications
Improper fabrication, installation, modification, or maintenance, including works NOT carried out by Noble Surfaces or its approved installers
Minor imperfections not visible from a distance of over 1 metre
Normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse, neglect, impact, excessive weight, or improper handling
Heat-related damage, including direct contact with hot cookware or exposure beyond recommended temperature limits (100 Degrees Celsius+)
Chemical damage resulting from the use of non-approved cleaning agents or treatments
Cracks caused by structural movement, substrate instability, fabrication processes (e.g. sink cut-outs, edge polishing), or installation-related stresses
Chips, scratches, or surface damage caused by impact, abrasion, or mechanical force
Certain natural characteristics of quartz materials are not considered defects, including: small clusters of dark spots that may appear as patches, light refraction, which can sometimes make quartz surfaces appear dull or shadowy under specific lighting conditions. Mirror chips (if any), which are randomly distributed and may not always align with the surface. If manufacturing cuts expose these chips, resin fillers may be used to ensure the surface is smooth and even.
